...Bob Stokoe who took 2nd division Sunderland to Weberley in 1973 and defeated the mightly Leeds team of that era has sadly died.
His image has been iconographic in almost every FA cup since especially when an underdog has been involved.
It was the second team he beat rival manager Don Revie in the FA Cup final in 1955. When playing for Newcastle he beat Revie's team Manchester City.
Another inspirational manager gone. Two in quick succession.
RIP Bob.
