h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Having been living in the Netherlands on and off for several years now, I am ashamed to say that I have not yet experienced the spectacle that is Queen's Day. I hope to rectify this situation this year, however, since I am based more permanently in Amsterdam these days. It should be fun to watch the escapades of the cloggies as they try to clear the crap out of their houses, and into the streets, only to be purchased by other cloggies, who take it home and treasure it. Incidentally, I learned a few days ago that all rubbish, when left out for street collection becomes property of the Crown. How lucky Queen Beatrix is - she can have my skanky old potato peelings any time she likes!
