Its a long way from OS to a tiny village in Devon, I dont live there but I'd like to. Clyst St Mary is really really small, its approx 4 miles from the city of Exeter. there's only about 200 people living there, with a small village school and a lovely old church [Church of the Virgin Mary]. Some good books to read are,"The story of a village" by Ruth Whitaker & "About Clyst St Mary" by Jeanne Axford. The nearest village is called Ottery St Mary and is really pretty, Samuel Taylor Coleridge [the poet] was born there, apparantly his dad was the rector there. If you ever get the chance you should visit Devon, its the most beautiful place. I've been many times and one day hope to move down there. My home is in Cheshire in English miles thats quite some distance but in Aussie terms its probably just next door!
