OK, maybe not quite anniversaries - the SG V's is in September and yes, I do remember though I equally like to buy flowers outside of that schedule 
- but there is an "awful" lot of family and friend birthdays at this time.
We went straight from one to another on Saturday, and most of the people at the first one will rejoin for a double birthday on Saturday 
.
Don't get me wrong - I do like my family and I do enjoy their company but just these weeks, it leaves preciously little time for all the other things that needs to be done...
Who am I kidding? I'll take a good family gettogether over autumn garden work any day!

Same here. Why is it always September, October and November that are the busy months for these things?
I know it's not just me - almost everyone I speak too says the same. I'm sure statistically I'll be wrong, but yeah, too many anniversaries, birthdays and celebratory events seem to happen at this time of year.
