Hello Lupus - I am KittyKat! 
I extend my paw in friendship. 
Please do not feel wary as I am not a ferocious feline 
but rather a cerebral, charitable cat who shares at least one common cause with you. 
I don't know if you are aware of the sudden abolishment and demonic 
demise of the "Welcome Lounge" over at the Member's Boards. That was my former territory ( of which I was inordinately fond ) and where I joyfully posted many times 
. Pegasus directed me to h2g2 a couple of weeks ago . The manner in which the murder of that site occurred was horrific 
. The abject insensitivity to a wonderful group of cyper friends (who can no longer communicate with each other because of the lack of e-mail addresses) combined with an utter absence of basic civility and politeness was appalling to me 
!! I railed at the mods - in a very lady-like fashion - but was summarily ignored! 
!!! They did at least leave the postings for all to see and 2 other folks finally found them. But so many are missing 
. The attitude of the BBC was astonishing to me as I had always held that organization in high esteem. Horribly disappointing (notice I'm still not over this!). Anyway, thanks for listening to my chagrin - didn't mean to bore you. 
But I would love to join a reform movement so this sort of thing does not recur. Any comments or observations you would care to share with me are greatly appreciated. And, if not, merci for the shoulder ! kk

Hello and welcome! I'm afraid I only have a couple of minutes before I have to go home (I log on from work), but I wanted to reply at least a little. I'll write more tomorrow. I would have replied sooner, but I am away on Wednesdays.
I visited you home space and read most of the stuff there. I'm going to go back when I get some more time. You sound like a very interesting person. How did you end up here on my page, by the way? I haven't seen you around before.
So, what happened with the thread you were posting on. Why did it disappear? I haven't heard of that happening before.
