I can't really keep my ACE badge, I don't do anywhere near as much as anyone else and I haven't really got the time to do a lot more at the moment

TB,
There are times when we all have to put RL first - the amount we do waxes and wanes.
Any aceings you have done are a help.
It is not about who does the most but that there is committment to the scheme, and by doing what you have when you are busy in RL shows you have that committment - and that is the kind of ACE the group needs.
So don't worry about it unless you feel you are giving yourself extra pressure.

Sweetheart TB is busy with Real Life things that are interferring with his time online with us.... We are hoping he will reconsider and just take a back seat for a while..

Is it possible to have a direct link to the newbies? I would do more if i didn't have to plough through the list of "who's online" and track down the ones who are new, only to find they've already been ACED!
My computer is in a state of transition right now, no access to Word type programme, so cannot copy and paste a general welcome thing, so anyone I ACE gets a personal message, which is nice for them, *but* takes ages to do and means i tend to only do one or two people, but if they respond, i follow them up and they usually stick around 'cos it's personal welcome.

Yes, but what's the actual link to "newbies who need welcoming"??? Then i can bung that into favourites also.
I had it ages back, but my old computer died on me and i have lost it! I am not the most technically minded ACE on earth i'm afraid! i am probably a good choice for total "new to computerland" folks who appreciate "the utter idiots guide to hootoo" and a general welcome to my page and the delightful loonies who visit me!

Hi Lil and Terri & Yoda
Just in case Lil forgets to mention, you need to click the box next to:
'Only show users from this site'
on newbies page, it's easy to overlook doing that.

Haven't even got a clue now where to find the newbies, it all disappeared when my beast died, along with lots of stuff like a half written book, sorry, unless i am spoonfed info right now i can't do too much.
I never did get invited to the Aces Forum either, despite many wails of protest, never mind, managed to Ace lots of folks anyway!
