I'm a little disappointed at the lack of ACE visits on the newbies list,

There are so many ACEs and, while I know that some don't like doing Welcomes it still seems odd that, over the past days, I seem to be almost alone in doing the Welcomes.

Please don't just leave it to the usual suspects (you know who you are ) If you are an ACE why not do just one or two a day to help.

I'm really tired and, while it's only a day long the list seems endless.

I know I'm one of the 'usual suspects', hunny.. Sorry I haven't been doing much recently, I haven't been too well.

I have cleared the list, hopefully our other friends won't feel overwhelmed when they come in to help

I am one of the suspects unfortunately .

The main reasons is firstly I looked at my space the other day to find out it had disappeared . It took me ages to do, work out the Guideml etc, and somehow or other it has just disappeared. I now have to start all over again as I haven't a back-up copy on my computer .

The second reason is because when my computer hard-drive died a couple of weeks ago, my 'Welcome' page was on there and it was one of many things that wasn't backed up.

So, with no personal space and no welcome page I have got to start over again.

However, as soon as I am up and running again I will start welcoming again .

Feisor. Lil, I hope you are feeling better .

I know I haven't done more than a few welcomes recently, and whenever I looked, I saw a whole info page full of yours, so there didn't seem a point of jumping in right then.
Funny you al ways notice when lil and I don't manage to do many, don't you?
I agree, though, there are numerous aces, it shouldn't be left to a handful of us to do the welcomes.

lil and B'Elana - yes, you two are always there and that's why I called on others

The trouble is that, because there are so few of us who regularly welcome, when one of us has problems (lil - please look after yourself, you are very special ) it puts pressure on those who are left. It would be so much easier if all the ACEs did a few each day

It's also not a good look for the site with so many on the ACE list and so few actually welcoming.

Nigel, I sympathise - I remember what it was like when my pooter died - can you not pick up your welcome from past threads? I hope that you get it all together soon.
