i came across my old welcome page and my drop box didnt work i thought this odd becouse i was sure it did when i left it i came across another page with a drop and that dosent work either
nd that one did as well
have i missed something have they boffins been fiddling with drop boxes

Can you give us a link, so we can see which drop-down you mean? The ones on my page seem to be working properly - do they work for you?

i have fixed one just had to write it out again on my welcome page its worked fine before yeh A1090225

I think the problem is caused because each dropdown has the line
Each list needs to have a difefrent name - so you could use for the first, for the second, and so on...

when i re did it i did the code in the same way as before and it worked for me???it worked the day i did it as well????????

That one works because there's only one dropdown on the page, so the name in the is unique.
The ones on your other page don't work because you're effectively trying to call several lists by the same name, because they all have .
Imagine you've you several friends called Bob. Suppose someone asks you if you've seen Bob. Which Bob do they mean? It could get a bit confusing, couldn't it? The same things happens with your drop-down lists - for your computer to be able to recognise them properly, all the drop-downs on the same page need to have unique names.
For instance, the following code should work if on your page (A1090225) - all I've done is changed the ITEM-LIST NAME:
