Hi all - I've already emailed the ACE forum to say that I don't really get chance to do much in the way of being an ACE these days, so I'm handing back my badge. I don't have any problems, I just don't get on to hootoo very often at the moment, and when I do I'm not on long, so I feel a bit of an imposter.

I'll still be on now and then, but I may not respond to messages very quickly. If anybody does want to contact me, the email addy on my homespace is specifically for h2g2 and I do check it.

Not really... Tis just a natural platea in the way I'm feeling... I see a new consultant on Wednesday we'll review medication then...

Well lets hope it goes well for you,and they give you some medication that actually does help you long term rather than the short term.

I'm interested in therapy in increasing the role of therapy in my treatment... at the moment I get none though I do have an appointment to be interview by a psychotherpaist on the 2nd of December with a view to me having CBT... I need to learn how to cope in different ways and how to think differently and how to find value within myself rather than being dependant on the love and affirmation of other to give my life meaning...

Meds that work long time would be helpful... Venlafaine worked to a small degree to begin with but it makes no noticible difference now... Though I have to wonder how bad I would be without it... I will have to ask about a new anti-depressant too...

I cant say i totally understand because then i would just be telling a lie, but i can say i try to understand what you mean what you go through, Ive had the experience of depresion but nothing like the degree your suffering.

I realy do hope and prey though you get all the help you need and want,may be seeing the psychotherpaist in december and the change of medication will help,
Im sure they will come up with something that will help you,but i can only imagine what a night mare it is waiting,you must feel like nothing will work sometimes,but please try stay possative and strong.

There are people with far worse problems than myself... if you are going to prey for someone prey for them...

I haven't been getting the help that a person deserves, hopefully things will start changing, this review, the CBT and a CPA should improve thing and get me into a position where I am supported enough and stable enough to help myself...

There are people who neds all sorts of help from all different cultures. Some more than others some less,But everyone equally should get the help they deserve, you have been waiting a long tome for this so hopefully this will be your lucky break.
