even though ticking only this site etc... it seems other sites newbies have been appearing on the list - so if in doubt ignore them until the site settles down and then they can always get aced later when we know for sure it is not a bug thing and they are supposed to be here.

i am not one to stew about things 
but this has bothered me all the way to the doctors (i was going anyway ) and it has occurred to me that the reason this happened is because they don't need to activate their page anymore.
These users were actually on h2g2 last night otherwise, i wouldnt have bothered with **, they were on the <./>online</.> list 'new this week', which would imply hootooing. (only about 4 of them so not a direct fault of SSO re registering otherwise their would have been hundreds)
If this is going to happen, then we may need to look into it or let other dna sites know, so that they don't think we are inappropriately aceing 
(and tell me off!! )
teething problem for the future? - just mentioning it now.

Hmm, you're not wrong, I'd be interested in trying this out, creating a new account under a different site and checking where it does appear now... - but to be honest with the system playing up like this I really don't fancy trying to log out then in again... and until everything settles down I suspect bug reports are going to get swamped

I am going to soon - just a coffee and then i will spend an hour tearing myself away from here Haven't actually been to bed since Friday.
Glad you think so Whisky as i hate thinking i did something wrong!
(i got sent out of my french class once and as i was such a goody goody at school, half the teachers heard about it as it was so unusual!)

I had thought about doing a new account too and checking but, like you, felt that i didn't want to risk it either!
