The lodge is nestled under an escarpment overlooking the banks of the Limpopo river at the point where three countries meet,SA,Botswana, and zimbabwe.Perfect views of both sunrise and sunset and surrounded by virgin bush. You may arrive by 4x4,helicopter,horse,ballon,or you can walk or get creative.
There is a wide verandah around the house with lots of comfy furniture to lounge in ,chat, watch game or whatever. In the Boma the fire burns brightly with plenty of chairs,a couple of lambs are on the spit and the buffet table has a wide variety of goodies including plenty of dishes for vegetarians.
The bar is fully stocked with everything including a very exotic bottomless punch, there is even some mothers milk for the smokers amongst you (ahem).
The game is plentiful with all of the big five in the vicinity,so do be careful if you go for a walk, particularly after dark,in fact to be honest i would not advise it,the hippos come out to graze and if you get in between them and the water you will be history.
The sky at night is an absolute carpet of stars, the days are cloudless and hot and when the safari gets too much you can lounge by the pool or bask in the outdoor jacuzzi.
All are invited so do pull in and have some fun, good company , good conversation and experience a bit of Africa.
See you there

I mean to start up some conversation with a "virtual Safari Party",
My intention is to invite all and sundry.
To be honest i thought i had posted it to the aces page....obviously not, perhaps you can give me some guidance. The truth is,and i am sure that it is becoming increasingly apparent, probably painfully so,i am pretty useless when it comes to navigating my way around computers.
I can't even raise a smiley!!!!
Just being friendly....

Hi Noname
If you create a whole page entry about your safari party, and suggest the URL over at Abi's Activities she'll pubicise it for you and people will come along. You can suggest your page to Abi here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A192791
I'll also send some friendly Aces along to help you with the smileys.
Any Aces out there, to help Nonametraveller?

Hi noname - just point your mouse over one of the above smileys and click and you will be transported ally ot the smileys page wigh gives you the text to type in for each smiley
They are all generated by typing in a simple phrase between <> marks - eg. < biggrin > without spaces is or : - D without spaces gives the same smiley
< cheers >
