i refuse to be called dumb and i think you are. i think youre just talking about teenyboppers anyway. sure alot of girls under 18 are dumb, but not all of us.

I said all under-18 girls are dumb unless proved otherwise. Can you prove you're not dumb? Yes, I was talking about teenyboppers, but unfortunately most under-18 girls are teenyboppers, hence the generalisation.

What I mean to say is, MOST girls (and blokes for that matter) under 18 are dumb. For proof, look at the charts (and these people's record collections). Westlife, Five, Boyzone, All Saints, Steps... enough said.

My justification for calling fans of these 'bands' dumb is that the only reason people have for liking them is that they fancy one of the group members. These groups can't even write their own lyrics, I mean how many of Boyzone's hits have been covers? No Matter What, Words, Father and Son, Love Me For A Reason, the list goes on.

And no, I am not dumb. I would prove it but it would be tedious.

I would just like to say for the record that I am not dumb, even though I'm a 14 year old boy. I voted for Queen, Freddie Mercury and Jimi Hendrix amongst others and I too was staring in disbelief as Ronan from Boyzone made an appearance in the ALL TIME greatest male vocalist catagory. The man has released 1 single, a cover version. Also, could anyone shed some light on why Queen are so looked down upon in today's society? The fact is that marketing for song begins long before it hits the shelves, gets to No.1 and then disappears. I feel there should be two separate charts, one for the under-12's & one for the rest of us. Many then we would see a REAL band like Metallica or Radiohead top the charts for once.

Teenyboppers make me sick.(althought that isn't an explanation for my name). However you should realise that not all adolescants are teenyboppers. We were all twelve once. Did we listen to this shit? No! Did everyone else? Yes!
MOST adolescants are teenyboppers but that doesn't mena we should judge them. There were stupid adult votes too.
I do agree with the separte charts for age groups though. That would really promote good music.

PS Did Thom Yorke beat Kurt Cobain in the male singer category. Cool! Kurt probably deserved it more but I'm a big radiohead fan and it's about time they get some recognition outside of the shadows of REM and NIrvana.
