Vegiman -
Thanks for the welcome. I will definitely check out your site and will probably poach from you This site is great and the people seem to truly embody the H2G2 spirit.

Courtesy? You sound Canadian.

Actually American. However I do like Hocky so I am not sure where that puts me, and my favorite team is the Toronto Maple Leafs. *Curious* What makes me sound Cananadian?

The Maple Leafs?!? You heretic. The HABS forever (no matter how much they suck).
You sound Canadian because you're courtious. Being courtious generally means being apologetic. And being apologetic is nearly synonymous with being Canadian.
Hi : Courtesy38
Courtesy38 Posted Nov 19, 1999
HABS ..... Well now I know why being courtious sounds Canadian to you ... you have been apologizing for them for way too long
I don't know if you remember but not too long ago my Leafs sucked too so I know where you are coming from.

*a haunting voice from nowhere bellows...*
I don't apologize for barging in... I just barge in! Hi Irving, you must be Canadian, at least you sound like one, apologetic and all...
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
*abruptly the sound ceases*

Actually, I could get farther away from Canada and still be in the English speaking part of North America... but not much. Southern Az, and all. I was raised by wolves, though, which could account for my friendly nature. I'll try not to sniff around you too much...

*a messy heap of bones and chains appear from nowhere. the bones rise to form Skeleton*
*rattles his chains in greeting*
Very wise decision, my friend.

And before anyone points out that there are few to no mexican wolves living in the wild in Arizona... coyotes, okay? Coyotes raised me. Wolves is what I tell everyone because it's more socially acceptable, you know?

Hmmm, you seem rather apologetic about who raised you. As if you're to blame... Why? Afraid that we might dislike you? We're not that kind of beings.

Look, when you're raised by animals that have a history of "trickster" stories being told about them, animals whose likenesses habitually chase innocent little roadrunners down highways with a ravenous, carnal grin on their faces, and you and your adopted parents aren't as malevolent and malicious as everyone assumes these particular canids always are, you get a guilt complex, okay? Sorry for taking up so much of your time.

You're welcome for wasting my time... Thank you!
But hey, if they allow *me* to haunt here, then what grudge would *anyone* be having against you? As I said, no reason to hide your history.

Thanks, I feel much better now.
Really, I'm somewhat bitter about cartoons... in Warner Bro's the Coyote is the bad guy... he just wants dinner! Just like us going to the market for Chicken! Only we don't have to catch ours! And in Disney, of course, there's the Jungle Book... raised by wolves, indeed!
That felt good!

Hehehe, and how did you think those chickens ended up at the market? They were also brutally mutilated by our brothers. That's very convenient for us: we can sleep well in the belief that *we* ourselves are innocent of those brutalities.
So why should a coyote *not* chase a woodpecker-like creepy bird?
