The guy who played Riff Raff, Richard O'Brien is a New Zealander. He used to work as a hairdresser's assistant in Hamilton NZ. The last time I was in NZ, 12 years ago, that barbershop was an alternative record store which also sold copies of the Rocky Horror soundtrack. Who would'ave thought?

Richard O'Brien wrote the whole musical, as I understand it. Its quite funny actually, Hamilton is going to have a statue of him as Riff Raff erected. Funny because Hamilton is a very conservative, small NZ city and most of it is outraged about it.
