Somebody has contributed something of mine to Stumbleupon. I would perhaps be flattered but they didn't tell or ask me first, and I've no idea which contribution has been chosen. I'm starting to get mail about something I don't know anything about, and I'm not experienced enough with SU to find out.
If the referring person is a member of the group, (they don't have to be in h2g2 at all of course), or know who did it,could they please explain?
Thanks
Jabb

The plot thickens. The mystery deepens. Who can it be?

As Lil says, anyone could have posted my thing on SU - members of the group, other members of h2g2, anyone on the internet. The comments I'm getting are quite nice, but I still don't know which piece has been broadcast, and this is very frustrating. On the SU index only the comments I made about others appear.
I did NOT mean to accuse anyone, I simply went fishing (rather than phishing - weak joke), but it seems that nobody here did it.
We are all friends here, so

Hi Pinky! Somebody posted something of mine on another popular site - stumbleupon, [which is really good]. But I don't know what it was that was posted, and this is frustrating.
Yes there's often a small voice inside that wants you to 'confess' to something you haven't done - I have just the same experience sometimes. But I'm less interested in 'whodunnit', because they probably really meant well, than in what they posted. I used the journal/friends' forum here simply to reach as many people as poss., not to accuse anybody, although 'accuse' is really the wrong word. 'Ask them to ask around' would be better.
Hope you're well,
Jab

Make sure you check out the videos, Paul.

Best site on the Web at the moment. Probably should be spelled Stumble Upon - 2 words. Free news for those of you who haven't found it yet.
So successful it took over YouTube recently.

I've never heard of Stumble Upon before now.I hope the mystery clears up sooner rather than later.

Enlightenment - just had a look at Stumbled Upon. It looks like a good explore -when do I find the time?
Lil - can I be a frined?
Jabs - just in case, at no time did I feel the pointy finger in my direction. So don't worry.
