I'm curious: how did you happen to stumble into my entries? You can't have had much time to run around here yet smiley - winkeye

I searched "telescopes" for absolutely no reason at all. It seems you are involved with some astronomical thingee of some sort. After that, I followed links to your page.

I haven't been here much, it's true...but I love the Hitchhiker series, and an entire site of similar people promises to be interesting.

Thank you for taking the time to look me up! I wouldn't imagine a little compliment would spur so much interest!

P.S. be easy with your judgement of my h2g2 page...I have never done any web-design of my own, and just thinking of text perplexes me. I have so much to say, but what are people interested in hearing? Feedback, please.

Write again later!

Hi Petunia!

Yeah, I believe searching for telescopes really IS a way to stumble into me smiley - winkeye

Loving the Hitchhiker series is quite a common affliction here, I agree. Weird eh?

A *little* compliment you say? There's no such thing as a little compliment in my book. And of course I looked you up! Why not? I don't get a great deal of response, usually, but when I do I am always excited. Whoever goes into the effort of giving me some feedback, deserves to get a little word of appreciation back. Or at least that's how I look at itsmiley - smiley

Don't worry about any judgement, my dear, because believe it or not; three weeks ago my page was much less inspired than yours is right now. I've done a little more web-design, obviously, having my own web-page out there on the web and all. Inspiration, on the other hand, is something else indeed. I don't get a lot of that, but instead, an idea must come to me by looking at something else that gets my attention.

Your first H2G2 page says much more about who you are than mine will ever say about me. Ok, maybe you don't know much about web-design, don't worry about that. Whenever you need some knowledge of it hard enough, you'll find it one way or another. In the meantime, just stick with plain text and tell us whatever *you* think is relevant.

Just wander about a bit. You've found *my* page, and undoubtedly some others too, and through these pages you'll find more. At some point you'll find something that's worth writing an article about, which isn't covered by anyone else yet (or maybe it is, but you have another angle into the subject). H2G2 is just about gathering facts about *any* subject related to life on earth, and a little humor isn't wrong either. You might wanna start by reading some fora and giving your opinion as well. That way you'll meet a lot of people who might inspire you smiley - smiley Maybe one day you'll hit the link to "New user page" and tell us some interesting stories about life in the Lake Tahoe area; some local folklore, some history, whatever smiley - winkeye

Hope to read you back soon.
