GreeboTCat Started conversation Apr 30, 2004
If anyone were to be here (not possible before this conversation is created of course) and happened to be looking up at just the right location in the stuff that makes up the top of a conversation (not sure what it is called... me supposes sky would do) then you might see a small black dot growing slowly bigger...
Realising as you stand there... looking up... that the dot is indeed getting much bigger, and is not just black but is in fact a most charming colour of bright orange (not ginger)... as well... you begin to slowly realise with a sudden panicky realisation sort of thingy... that the dot is actually heading your way very quickly...and is in fact (lots of facts around here today me thinks) very much larger than the first thought to be dot...
As true panic sets in... and your limbs become imovable (imoveable? - word needs sorting one day me thinks) with shock... you realise that the non dot is in fact a large (not overly large... maybe large boned would be more polite) orange and black cat of your aquaintance that is now falling at some speed towards you making a stange wailing noise... (rather like the subject line of this very conversation if you care to look again)...
Your last thought (well not last because you will of course survive the encounter) is to wonder if you had put clean underwear on this morning... and if it will remain that way by the time the medical type people had sorted you out when they arrive... to give you much need attention...
SPLAT!!!!!!!!!
DARKNESS!!!!!!!!!
OOAAAAAAAAFFFFFFFFF!!!!!
Goodness... that could of been nasty if you hadn't of been there to break my fall like that...
Greebs..xx

Ouch!!!!
**A wide and flattened whisky - looking suspiciously like a greebo-topped pizza, picks himself up off the floor and rubs what used to be his head... Unfortunately now only about six inches higher than his feet!
**looks around**
Shouldn't there be some kind of warning about the dangers of low-flying cats around here?

*shazz rushes in carrying a large fireman's blanket. She sees what looks suspiciously like a flattened Whisky with a tiger rug covering his body*
Oops - I was too late I guess.
*Puts blanket down which is also concealing a huge mound of s*
Well, these should see Greebo better in no time - I'm not sure what to do about you though Whisky! You look like an !

Taking it well!!!
This is going to ruin my basketball career I'll have you know!
Now, has anyone got any bright ideas about how to get me back to normal?
(And the first one to suggest a bicycle pump gets their ankles bitten!)

How about an industrial tyre pump?

DoctorMO (Keeper of the Computer, Guru, Community Artist) Posted Apr 30, 2004
nah he just needs an anti-greebo to fall on him. the force of such a hit should force him to his correct height.
it's all here in my latest book "Quantum Physics for dummies"

Whisky Posted Apr 30, 2004
But what happens if you bring an anti-Greebo into a thread that already contains a Greebo
Oi! And I'm watching you with that pump by the way ! Don't even think about coming any closer!

DoctorMO (Keeper of the Computer, Guru, Community Artist) Posted Apr 30, 2004
But it's vital that the anti-greebo and greebo don't meet as they would be so disgusted with each other that they would either fail to exist or cause the end of the universe.

Careful!!!
It was the suggestion that Greebo has an enormous influence on the planet that caused this problem in the first place when her ego became over-inflated! If you suggest that she has the power to end the universe goodness only knows what will happen.

You have to admit, it's a tremendous responsibility.
If 'twere me, I'd have to bring about the End just to see what would happen. But then there's that phrase about curiosity and a certain .
