MY EYES! MY EYES! MY AMAZING, COLOR SHIFTING EYES!

So I was reading a webcomic tonight. Real Life Comics.
The font was a bit small.
So I swooped down, closer, and up to get the text to focus.
After a second or so, I realized: I had to squint and refocus. And my eyes felt weird.
This disturbs me. Might my addiction to webcomics be causing significant damage to my eyes?
Maybe I should just avoid computers for a week or so, just to be safe.
If that's the case, then you've all been warned. I'll go outside and play in the snow, or something.

The text in Real Life was rather small today.

Hmm. True, it was smaller than normal. And I don't seem to have troubles elsewhere.
Maybe I'd just been working on the computer too much yesterday, my eyes seem fine today.
Oh, and if anyone can tell me where the "amazing, color shifting eyes" line is from, that's another ten points.

For the record, I didn't need glasses until I was away at college and started to take my laptop to class to take notes. So I was staring at the screen during classes, staring at the screen to do papers, staring at the screen to talk to friends... Not to mention that my Junior year I took a job that is somewhat computer-intensive... you get the idea. My eyes suffered permanent damage, but fortunately it's not too bad.
Now I can't read road signs when I drive at night so I wear the glasses, but I guess it could be worse.
