ASTRO-JOURNAL!

Now that I'm in an Astronomy class, I've been adding the prefix "ASTRO" to anything that I could somehow logically connect it to.

It probably makes the most sense with the Astronomy Lab that I'm in: ASTRO-LAB!

However, there are other uses. My text book in that class, for instance? Why, it's an ASTRO-TEXT if ever I saw one.

And the note book that I use when listening to lecture? An ASTRO-PAD.

Oh, and what of the car I use to get to class? An ASTRO-MOBILE, of course. I'd be a fool to call it anything else.

Now, my mind has been in story-writing mode for many weeks, and I keep listening for stuff that sounds cool. And in class today, we were talking about "The Celestial Sphere," and a little chime went off in my mind: what a cool name for a treasure in a sci-fi adventure story!

Now, in highschool, I had a theory that you could add the suffix -mancy to any prefix that ends with the letter "O." Neuromancy should sound familiar to cyberpunk fans. "Pyromancy" is of course magic having to do with fire. Such trains of thought led me to create "The Arithmancer" for my CLI stories, and I just now thought of magic having to do with Tom Clancy: Clancimancy.

Now, combine everything I've written above. What do I get?

ASTRO-MANCY!

The astromancers, long have they sought control of the Celestial Sphere, for cosmic control! If ever there was a plot suitable for a CLI movie, this is it.

I forgot to mention hobomancy. My favorite -mancy of the many I created in high school. Magic caused by, derived from, or affecting hobos.
