Hi Foxy,
There's an article going through 'peer review' at the moment which may be of interest to you.
It's called 'Passing the SAS Selection Course - from the Inside'. Can't give you a ref (don't know how to on this thing) but if you enter 'SAS' in the search box, it comes up.
I was in 18 troop - but many, many years ago.
Cheers.

Hi Brew,
Many thanks for your good wishes. Did wonders for my morale!
I had a look at your site. Very smart, and hellish useful for helping the blokes to train by the look of it. I didn't manage to go through all of it a) because my computer is shite at surfing and b) 'cos I got side-tracked reading about the old codgers who've kicked the bucket - something you start doing when you get to my age!
I will try to have a good look when I get to a decent computer with a fast link, and if I think I've got anything worthwhile to say I might post it to you here, and maybe you could paste it in on my behalf as it were. Again, my computer can't handle Hotmail or Yahoo these days - they won't accept my browser.
My scribbles on 'Passing Selection' are now finished. I withdrew it from 'Peer Review', have done the last little bit of editing, and have posted the final version. I don't mind if it's got a few rough edges - it was written for people who want to try for the Regiment, and I'm sure they'll understand what I'm on about. If you want to give it a link from your site I'd be delighted - assuming you agree with it that is! You might need to add a caveat saying it isn't an excuse not to train!!
I'm hoping my mate 'Pete' who was on the course will read it and add a few comments. I've only seen him once in the last 30 years and we'd lost touch, but a couple of months ago, thanks to the wonders of email, we re-established contact.
Anyway, all the very best. You're doing a really great job.
Nick.
