Getting Past Pain/Resentment
Dragonfly. "A poet can survive everything but a misprint"-- Oscar Wilde Started conversation Apr 22, 2005
I deserve apologies.
But what I really want is to move on and be "on top" of things and happier.
I must change. I must stay away from as much stress as possible. I must burn away what upsets me.
Maybe this means I'm not on hootoo for awhile... I dunno what it means. I need a bloody nap, for a start.

No gory details, D?
The subject line draws us in, but where's the beef?
(It's a beautiful day here...)

A nap is a good idea dear, and perhaps a stiff drink as well. The beginning is mouth-watering. But I do hope there's nothing wrong?

Be the bigger person.
Everytime you want to know about someone you shouldn't then find something else to do, keep treats, a special book, anything to make sure you devote that energy to something positive.
Moving on isn't easy, you have to consciously rise above it everytime, it may take a very long time before this comes naturally. But try anyway. Everytime you do succeed, reward yourself and pat yourself on the back for being the better person.
When you start the new job, you won't have time to worry about this anymore, just know you are getting on with your life without looking back.

Yes.
I have to stay far away from people and things that can not be happy for me being happy.
I also know that I'm full of mistakes. And maybe I ought to write a few poems just about that. I know I am hating many things about my mother and her attitudes and what she insists on.
And it seems we tend to hate in our loved ones qualities that we have in ourselves.
I hate that she clings to resentments and complaints and how others have "wronged" her and I don't want to be like that.
You won't get juicy details... it's really not worth it. It won't clear up the cycle. Still, I'm going to feel as if there are two people out there who would benefit from apologising.
I just don't think that my mistakes merit the personal pain that has sprung from the wounds.
It's not for me to decide anything like that, is it!??
I have to *stop* concentrating on the negative, and give my love and time to what is positive.

concurs all....
you might not always be good in the eyes of others, but keep on listing to your heart. I believe your heart is good. at least most of the time ;- )
like I said before neative energy cost lot more of you than positive energy!

You feel the most pain and resentment, I think, with "issues" that were once the source of pleasure...

If you drop the whole thing from your mind and your life, I'm sure you'll get the happiness you deserve.

Go away Ian and don't come back.
Dragonfly, just start a new journal and forget this one ever existed. If he keeps posting to them and you start new ones, he will have to work harder to stalk you. Eventually if he keeps at it, we will have enough to go to the powers and get him warned - again.
Don't give up Dragonfly, we'll still be here.
See I can't join in smiley congos, thats not who I am, but I can always be around with help and advice.
