YAY!!! My brother just got home. He went shopping for a costume with his friend today. They work together, and she's going to dress as a groom while he's going to be a bride. Everyone in the house thinks it's hilarious except for Mom.

But when I heard that he was going to get the costume, I requested angel wings and a halo.

Hee hee hee... my brother bought an angel costume, and he's using the dress for his dress... so perfect!!!

What about my dress!??

NO!!! I'm not going to be a naked angel!!!



I am using my high school graduation gown-- it's silver. I'm too y to be a "pretty/namby-pamby/harp-playing" angel.

Hee hee hee. I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!

Lets see - so far in past Halloweens I've dressed up as:

1. A "Land Shark" from Saturday Night Live (you know "knock, knock... Candygram)

2. A "Killer Bee" also from Saturday Night Live (John Belushi was the BEST!)

3. Kabuki Dancer

4. Cheerleader (this REALLY pissed me off because nobody realized I was in costume, and the point was to mock cheerleaders!)

5. The color (green) Wow - that was difficult! It took me FOREVER to get the green off!

6. Arabic shiek

7. a "Rock Lobster" (from the B-52's song of the same title)

8. Conehead

9. A Soviet "comrade"

10. and last but not least...a hemmorhoid! (sp) (don't ask, but it got a lot of laughs!)

Gee looking back - it sure seems like I was over influenced by Saturday Night Live doesn't it...

I was gonna do an angel once..back when i had the figure for it was gonna get a little white silky chemise nighty, hold up stockings n have he halo a little tilted but we forgot to get the stuff in time so i ended up doing a last minute thing with something else

One year, I was 'A Shadow of My Former Self' Which no one got

I love halloeen!

Last year I was a grim reaper and the year before a demon!

This year I'm still undecided, either the spirit of jazz (from the mighty boosch), leatherface (from the texas chainsaw massicre) or a nun.

I'm growing a bit of stubble for comic effect

Sorry to be a bore but I need to unsubscribe because of what the long title is doing to my convo list! Have fun Dragonfly, we are going to where there are no street lights to do a ritual to say a final goodbye for all those who died this year. Its the final harvest festival of the year, in times past you would know whether you had enough food to survive the winter or not. Its meaning is harsh and deep.

looks like i'll dedfinately be going with witch (how apt) again this year! found a gorgeous long embroidered cloaky thing to wear, n a great back n silver feather boa! not that im going on the pull or anything

I had a pretty good time working in my angel costume!!! Three people had to insist on declaring things like, "but you aren't an angel".... Always the older ladies who 1) you can't fool, and 2) aren't afraid to tell you how it is.

YAY!!!

....I'm really rather surprised at the LACK of HALLOWEENy spirit at the store. Only about half the people I expected to dress up dressed up.

There were loads of people dressed up this year!
