to think of a clever, catchy name for a fine arts section of the citizen journalism Web site you are working for (he likes your idea! Yes!), what names would you propose? I don't want to give away all the details, but good responses kinda require that -- let's just say the section would highlight user-posted stories about the fine arts and there will be links to fine arts events in Colorado.
I have an idea or two, myself. "The Musehome" is not one of them.
To get a feel for the Web site I might produce/edit this special section for (it depends on learning more HTML and being able to do it and keep up with my many current duties), please visit my blog at http://denver.yourhub.com/~MusingsOfTabithaDial

I'll see what I can come up with. Is this kind of an all-arts section, with movie reviews, play reviews, art and gallery shows, etc? Do books get covered as well?

This will of course include books and poetry readings. We are very community-oriented, so I don't envision commercial movies getting much play unless a local person writes a great review or an entertaining blog about it, and film festivals, art galleries, plays, concerts, readings, arts facility openings, these will get a lot of consideration.
Thanks, Pauly!

A pretty cool one, too. Thanks.

I was trying to brainstorm, but "Colorado" doesn't necessarily lend itself well...
ColorARTdo --- impossibly awkward.
Colorado Coloring Book --- terribly immature
Commune Colorado --- too hippy dippy
Colorado Arts Faire --- eh, they'll be expecting spinny rides

A. Washcloth, Esquire: Thank you so much for your input!
And thank you, Pauly, for your brain energies, too.
I've submitted a list of potential names to my boss. We'll see what comes of it.

Hi, Dragonfly.
Do I dare ask how you are doing in the wake of a *third* major snowstorm in Colorado?
It seems so funny that parts of New Mexico are buried under snow, while in Boston it's warm enough to go to the beach (which is exactly where I'm going tomorrow. Wish you were here, Draggers )

Pauly! I wish I was there, too!
This storm isn't that bad. Yeah, the storms have brought about some chaos and a little inconvience, but I think it's impact on my life hasn't been that great.
I walked to work a couple times this week. It took me about 45 minutes each time and I had to be careful about ice ... it's slightly annoying to have to traverse snowpack, ice, miniature glaciers (at many streets, pedestrians have to step on top of the snow that's accumulated on the edges of the roads to cross streets), slush and puddles.
But it's also kind of exciting.
I admit I was cursing the snow yesterday morning, when I had to walk to my bus stop in it. I gave up on using the sidewalks, because most of them hadn't been shoveled and I wasn't up to walking through three inches of snow.
It's really not hard to manage with the storms. We have adequate food almost all the time, and it's about a 10-15 minute walk to a Walgreens if we do need something.
And if things get grim, work will offer me a room at a nearby hotel (but I might rather walk an hour to get home -- when it's that bad, us pedestrians have taken to using the roads the whole time and the minor traffic we have gets around us easily -- it's actually quite fun!).
Enjoy the beach. Sounds great.

Boston has had some huge, awful snowstorms over the years. There was one on April Fool's Day that dump[ed 20 inches of snow on my roof, and I had to climb up and shovel it off so the roof wouldn't cave in (which it actually did once or twice). Then I could get ready for work.
Anyway, that is why I worry about your storms. I know what Hell they can be.

Yuck. That is bad.
Life in an apartment really cushions me from many worries.
