Ok, not really. But through the Every Day Matters group, I found this cool blog: http://www.paperandthreads.com/
The Sept. 26 entry shows some sketches from London. Awfully nice.

I can get to New London, Connecticut by driving there. It's not free, but I could afford the gas. Londonderry, New Hmapshire is even closer, and I could look at the fall foliage on the way.
Peru and Florida are also easy to get to. They're towns in Western Massachusetts,

You also have some awesome frozen veggies that you can't buy here.
Returning to hootoo has had the affect of me getting kinda London-eyed. I've noticed I write a little more Britishly again.
I'll never get over spelling theatre or grey any other way than theatre or grey.

Hi Dragonfly! Nice to see you around again.
Though I'm in West Yorkshire, I live within walking distance of Egypt, Scotland, Greenland and Portsmouth. In fact in one day I walked from Egypt to Scotland then on to Greenland
(The first three are just hill farms/hamlets, the last is a village just over the border in Lancashire - that would be quite a long walk but do-able in a day).

Do not adjust the colour on your TV set. We will control the picture. We will control the sound....
(I can't remember whether that was from "The Twight Zone" or "The Outer Limits."
