Ok... it has been too much fun visiting with fellow researchers who need smileys... so... step right up and we'll help each other through the hardships of missing symbols that could express ourselves!!!!

The downward slope of Humankind since the advent of the written word can be reversed. The lack of smileys stops here!

CALM DOWN, calm down...I know it's not
There should also be a smiley, although that may be taking it a bit TOO far...

Apparently all the currency symbols ($,etc) are in your keyboard somewhere on something called a character map... Pounds, Euros, Zoltys, Rubles, Dinars, the whole nine yards.
By the way does anybody know where that comes from ..the 'whole 9 yards"? It ain't football.

YES!!! I think it was from WWI or WWII... I think it was aerial attacks....errr.... no!!!
Was it in regards to automatic rifles!?? They could reach nine yards?!??
I know it had something to do with the new warfare developed in those wars...
And.... changing the subject back to older posts, I know that in the grand US, we sell PLASTIC flute glasses, so everyone can afford them and feel equal. Good old communism. I mean... capitalism!!!
And RedFish, dear... there is a ...

That's funny... I have a sudden craving for tea, and I do not drink tea!!!
Does everyone have their own !?? How about !??
Was my guess about the Whole Nine Yards right!?!??

Your guess is as good as mine. But I like the idea of maybe hand grenades which have an effective range of about 'nine yards'...
But even that seems arbitrary. No, we'll just have to wait and keep asking til we hear from an expert.
BTW: we seem to have gone off topic again...
Wanna start a new one called the absolute final definitive list of smileys needed now?
