while everyone else is at the mall and other stores returning all the gifts their families and friends so painstainkingly purchased for them, i am sitting here in front of my shiny blue computer, very warm and cozy. it seems so rude to mill about these stores not wanting the gifts. at least your kith and kin thought enough of you to get you something at all, unlike some of us who have not a family to get us nice things. so deal with it. find a creative use for that extra scarf. use it to strangle a snow man. or hang the bunny people.

yes, my dear and darling imac 400 dv with all the trimmings and extra stuff. my mac sees more of me than any other person. and no snide comments about it, it might get angry and toast your beige. it is very shiny blue indeed, i wish it glowed in the dark though. are you a windork or an igeek?
blue??

I am a windork - x86-based, and proud of it. Also a part-time LinGeek
Just think... if you ever dropped your computer into a deep laky by mistake, how would you ever find it? It's underwater-camouflage. Now, mine, on the other hand, would show up nicely :-p

no no, i think i would find my imac just fine. unless the dolphins decided to capture it and use it for themselves. a pc on the other hand, well, they might bury it in an effort to save mankind. ;o) at least it isn't orange, i'm sorry, "tangerine". by far the ugliest colour. well, at least they havent made a "lemon" i think they figured that the pc world has put out enought of those. LOL then again so has mac. at least i can take comfort in the fact that if my imac ever got dropped in a vat of oatmeal, i would find it, providing no one mistook it for a little piece of candy. you on the other hand would be screwed. does the warranty on pcs cover accidental misplacement due to food substances that look just like it? maybe you should buy an imac coloured tower just to be safe.
x86?

by the by, what is an x86 pc? it been ages since i owned a pc. (they always had a funny way of breaking or falling from high places)
x86?
Atuin Posted Jan 2, 2000
It's the processor
It stands for "86 times better than the G3"
nono, I'm only kidding. Actually I would rather have a G4 machine if i could run windows on it rather than MacOS.
286, 386, 486, Pentium (586), then they used "Pentium II" and kinda scrapped the x86 names as far as i know.
windows on g3 or g4

i believe you can run windows on a mac. you would have to buy a program to do it, but its possible.
did you toast your marshmallows your self when there was no fireball?
;o)
windows on g3 or g4
