than by doing a 10 and half hour slog trying to move Rochdale branch over from one windows domain to another with minimal fuss. Neigh on impossible I tell you, especially since half the staff there are ignorant so and so's who spend too much time up themselves. It also doesn't help that they also have a habit of messing with cabling in the patch cupboard. To me that's an accident waiting to happen, hopefully similar to something involving them, a bath and a plugged in toaster. Still, all sorted now. Just Wigan, Bolton, Stockport, Tameside and City to go. Ye gods, three of those are all day efforts and City could be a 2 day job. If all goes well, all will be up and running on the Exchange server by close of play on the 22nd.
Oh yeah, on a completely unrelated note the passport arrived today. Now all I need is an excuse to flee the country.

When you hear about an anniversary, you want to say "congratulations", but I'm not sure when it involves w**k...
Though I'm sure you can celebrate/drown your sorrows (delete as applicable) tonight with plenty of chilled

"Now all I need is an excuse to flee the country."
Doesn't your first paragraph cover that?

I love my job. Sure there's some pains in the rear end but most of the people in the branches are totally hatstand and make it worth doing. It also helps that it's something I've got a real passion for.

....Is that something you've drummed into yourself or do you really feel like that...?
Fb, having doubts about w**k. All w**k.

It's true, I really do love my job. I was totally gutted when I applied for this job, got the interview and was told I was the second choice candidate, and although I did feel bad that the first choice had a heart attack on his second day, I only felt bad for an itty bit. I couldn't have asked for a better stepping stone towards bigger and greater things in the future.
