I would hazard a guess it's the V3, there's not much of a menu to the Portarotary other than a dial 
The menu has taken a little bit of getting used to compared to my previous one (Samsung E700) but that's mostly due to the two function keys being mapped the other way round to what I'm usually used to.

I had something similar when I had a siemans for a while. The space and full stop key were on the opposite keys to the nokias I'd always had. I was forever cocking it up!
If I don't get on with this one, I'll flog it on eBay and go back to the trusty Nokia.
