Some things I noticed being back at the W word

1. I come back from having a few days off and the place had fallen apart in my absence.
2. I forgot how hard I work during the day. Feel like I'm not long from slumberville.
3. I forgot about how some members of staff at the outlying branches have even less of a clue than the offspring of a village idiot and a glamour model.
I've missed the place and glad to be back

1. You could watch it fall apart slowly by sneaking on while you're at work, like I did today and yesterday after suffering withdrawal symptons I miss not being able to say "I've just considered making a sandwich" in the what's just happened thread or some such twaddle whenever I feel like it.
2. I know what you mean, I almost fall asleep on the bus home nevermind when I get home and have just settled on settee for 5 minutes after eating tea
3. I had to explain to someone who's supposed to be quite a bit above me the origin of the cheese counter yesterday.
I can't wait to have another break, ooh look, the weekend's nearly here

I would very much like to get back to work now... if they manage to sort out the student hour thingy.
Stupid university budgets.

At uni I was convinced that the university beancounters should never be allowed to beancount.
What is the origin of the cheesecounter then?

Are you comfortable? Then I shall begin...
The cheese counter is an oft mistaken object which originated in Portugal during the 1854 ant war. Though many people presume the cheese counter has been purposely made to hold cheese, they are mistaken. They will not admit it, or even admit knowing that this is a widely known cover up, but nevertheless, the cheese counter has been circumstance to a bigger government cover up than even the JFK assassination. Which may not seem so secret anymore due to many documentaries and films speculating what could have actually happened, but these documentaries and films are in fact ploys, by the wealthy nightclub owners, to distract you from the fact that JFK was killed by a young Peter Stringfellow, in a plane flying miles above the US. A simple mistake with a champagne bottle cork and someone not shutting the window and bang!
Peter Stringfellow has never been the same since that dreadful day....

*Sits on edge of seat, quietly wondering who this Stringfellow fellow is and if there's a second installation coming up*

Actually it's today that's done that. I really need the weekend now just to recover.
