Just had a nice email back from the editor of iCan. It turns out the reason everyone's names were getting moderated was due to a change in their own house rules which resulted in them post moderating all user names. They didn't realise moderating a nickname affected all DNA sites.
Anyhoo, we've all had an apology, and they're reviewing their nickname policy.
I guess that means we can all drop Tony Curtis from our names now? Oh why stop when we're having fun 
all round!
