Well I say interesting, it's interesting to me at least and very very crufty 
I was mucking around with my router, wondering if I could cut Yahboo! completely out of the loop for sending my router logs to Gmail.
It turns out I can 
What's more, you can also send and receive your gmail in any email client using pop and smtp 
How long I'll be able to do this, I've no idea, but it's a good thing while it lasts
