Found out last week that I had been out of contract on my mobile for a bit.
By a bit read 14 months.
A few phonecalls to my mobile provider later, today I received at the office a shiny (not really shiny, it's more of a sexy black number) XDA Orbit to not only replace my phone but my ageing Ipaq h5450. Pretty chuffed with it so far, but two yoghurt pots tied together with string would have been an improvement over that Razr V3 I had. I don't think phones are supposed to smell like they are about to burst into flames.

According to the weighty manual that arrived with it, it does these amongst other functions:
A mobile office
A digital video camera
A MP3 and video player
A FM Radio
A satellite navigation system
oh and apparently a phone.
At the moment I've got it happily talking to the Exchange mail server at w*rk, stuck on some network diagnostic tools, and posted this
