A funny thing happened to me as I was about to come home from watching The Matrix Reloaded at the Trafford Centre. I went out into the car park and my car wasn't there. I spent about 20 minutes wandering around the empty car park looking for my car before realising I'd actually parked in the car park next door. smiley - doh

Silly me.

Is that muffled laughter I hear? Hope so smiley - silly

Well in my defence the car parks were next to each other and identical in almost every way (with the exception that the other one had my car in). I'm surprised I've not done that before at that place with it being so huge.

I blame slight disorientation brought on by a good movie and copious amounts of overpriced cola smiley - winkeye

Actually, sounds like something I'd do (before the preggie-brain-rot, even!), so I suppose I can laugh out loud! Though I'd likely do it by coming out a different door than I'd entered by...

its probably a tenuos link here, but my Mum once walked out of work to go home and saw a woman hunched over the steering wheel of her car (my Mums car that is) trying to start it.Mum flew into a blinding rage and raced to her car to confront the thief, tore the drivers door open shouting "What the hell do you think you are doing with MY car????" and at that very moment she realised that those WERENT her seatcovers and that this was, in fact, NOT her car and that the woman in the drivers seat was not a hardened criminal growling at her but a very frightened woman who was shaking in HER own car wondering who this freak was shouting at her.

Needless to say Mum was very apologetic and embarrassed , the woman was trembling with fear and I think its one of the funniest things I ever heard!

Actually what was going through my mind was "Why in Bob's name would anyone want to nick a clapped out 12 year old Fiat Uno? Don't they know they could get themselves killed driving that thing?" smiley - winkeye

So you're saying you'd be less shocked if Zak's car got stolen? smiley - laugh

If it was Zak's car that got stolen I'd be wondering how they managed to drive it away without getting stuck. Not a lot of room in there you know smiley - winkeye

fords - number 1 all over heaven

Don't worry about it - one time, my mum and me were at the local supermarket when we bumped into one of the neighbours who offered us a lift home and told us to go wait in her car as it was open. So we got into the car, wondered where she was after a while.....and the real owners turned up, asking what the hell we were doing in their car.

We'd loaded the bags of food into their boot as well...

They could have at least given you a lift home.
