I'm about to do a cannonball run down to Plymouth and back this morning, the first time I'll have done the journey on my own. The kid brother and his missus are moving back to Manchester, and he's acquired so much crap over the years that it would have either been a three car trip (mine, my dads and his) or hire a van. Either option would have seen me having to drive down there and back since neither the 'rents are able to for various reasons, but we've opted for the slightly cheaper option.
Back later tonight after a 600 mile trek hopefully.
Oh yeah, GTA Liberty City Stories is freaking awesome. Now if only I didn't have to go, that way I could fully get the hang of the controls as they're way different from the PC (obviously)

"and he's acquired so much crap over the years that it would have either been a three car trip (mine, my dads and his) or hire a van"
Warning, warning, Will Robinson. Does not compute!!!
A 'three car trip' does not equate to the amount of chattels suggested by the phrase 'so much crap over the years', particularly taking into consideration the fact that two people are involved. I envisage more of an ongoing pantechnicon situation in those circumstances. A 'three car trip' sounds more like a student going home, accompanied by three times what they started out with when they first arrived at uni.

Back, and we managed to cram the vast amount of it in three cars. I think it helps that they did five car loads to the inlaws earlier in the week
Yup Footy, it's PSP only and has proper multiplayer

At least you had an entertaining night to have a drive. Bet there were lots of "Oooh!"s and "Aaaah"s

High explosives going off in front of your car is not the sort of thing you want to be dealing with when you've been driving for over 12 hours, trying not to fall asleep at the wheel in the dark, howling wind, drizzle and low cloud

Oooh! Oooh! Did you have a walkie talkie in each of the cars so that you could pretend to be in The Italian Job? Did you take a shortcut through a sewage pipe with blazes of fireworks in the background? Did a rogue detective, desperate in his attempt to rejuvenate his career, attach a Catherine Wheel to the back of your car in the hope that it would break off the exhaust pipe, sending it under your back tyres and making the car spin round (resulting in dizziness and migraine)?

Well the walkie talkies were mobile phones, but the rest of it as far as I can recall didn't happen. Especially the bit with the coach hanging off the edge of Cheddar Gorge

Are you sure they were mobile phones?
There couldn't be any possibility that they were walkie talkies that you found, which actually belonged to the Australian mafia, resulting in you being chased around a cemetery for a bit?

Well, there was also that nasty incident when you pulled into a petrol station and noticed that your boot wasn't shut properly. On opening it, you found a body with a suitcase full of money. So you thought that as nobody knew the body was there, you should take the money and run home to stuff it into your attic and watch peoples drunken antics from above.
Of course, this was after the hallucination of a penguin sat beside you in your cave, repeating over and over again: "Slide."

This is starting to get uncanny. How do you know all this? *looks out of the bedroom window just to double check that Footy isn't hiding in the back of my car with a wireless networked laptop*

I have the Shining.
You've just been served some gin by a bartender called Lloyd, haven't you?
