What a terribly shocking day. I came home to discover that my grandmother is very ill. She has a bowel disease - exploding bowel I think it was called. Then the bad news came to worse. I found out today she was even more ill than first thought. She has cancer! Her mother and father had died also of cancer and it was always her worst fear of getting it. I didn't know her that well - well I didn't really know her at all but she use to send me books at Christmas which I did enjoy.
She won't recover from the cancer though. They say is dying of cancer. It's horrid and although I didn't know her that well I am deeply effected. My Dad's handling his mum's disease okay... well at least he looks like it. It is so sad...
