A Conversation for Wooden Coffee Stirrers
Stirrers

I've been stirring my coffee with wooden sticks for years, and I've never had a stick go limp on me unless I've gotten fidgety and started breaking it up myself. Maybe my sticks just don't spend enough time in the coffee? I don't tend to like to drink while there's a stick bobbing around in my face. How long have you been soaking your stir stick, Weasle?

I'm talking about the thin wooden stirrers that a few of the coffee houses around Penn State are starting to use. They give the sticks a lot of surface area, and they soak up the coffee like a paper towel.
