I toured Prague with a group of students as part of a trip about 8 years ago. It is definitely one of the most beautiful cities in eastern Europe.
My favorite sight was Winceslas palace (castle?). Gorgeous gothic architecture with lots of gargoyles. I loved the color contrast of the dark outline on the light stone.
Also, Franz Kafka kept a home there which has been turned into a bookstore.

Ah yes, I remember it well. That'll be the gothic extravaganza of St Vitus Cathedral in the grounds of the castle, up there on the hill dominating the skyline of the old city. It was founded by Wenceslas in the 10th century and his tomb is in a small but richly decorated chapel there, hence the association.
