so, as we all know i've recently moved out of home right. so when lack of entire socks became critical i went and bought some new ones(this worked really well. i wasn't sure if that was the right way to go about it but it really did get me whole socks) i bought 100% cotton socks. they were hard to find and much less excitingly coloured and patterned than all the NON 100% cotton socks. but whenever i went to get socks with my mum she would try and make me get cotton ones (they're the brocoli of the foot world!) so when i got home and put my new socks on and said (over a loudspeaker into a parking lot)"this feels really good! HEY EVERYBODY! BUY SOME SOCKS!!" i couldn't wait to tell my mum about it because i thought she would be proud of me and i felt all aglow. but as the seconds ticked on i got to thinkin..you know, maybe would actually be quite insulting, like she's really got nothing else running through her mind so she will be really excited and impressed that her daughter bought 100% cotton socks all by herself..it's a pretty minor incident..i don't think that 20 years from now when i'm getting around in stylish pantsuits and shoes that you don't Wear socks with and she's hobbling a bit and storing tissues in her cardigan sleeves, that she will say "you know iiiii remember when you bought your first...pair..of 100% cotton...socks, i was so proud of you that day. my little girl is growing up, i thought"
i think that I would be insulted or depressed if an offspring of mine told me about their socks. so i didn't say anything.
i know i shouldn't keep things from her but it just didn't feel right
but maybe next time i see her i'll be showing a bit of ankle. maybe

Try smartwool too. Them's some good socks, they is.

Personally, i perfer ankle socks. The ones that run up your leg just get in the way and get all sweaty and you can never match them. Ankle socks. It's the way to go. Sooo, when do you get a new monitor?

Personally, I like plain, white socks, however, you have to buy the same brand every time, else you end up with hundreds of mismatched socks (this is only after you buy the second brand, the singles multiply like bunnies, go figure). So, that is a male view point of it, take it or leave it.

I have BILLIONS of white socks. It's one of my favorite things to own. I like them when they are a little loose with the elastic not too strong so they hug my calves under my boots but don't strangle me.

I bet your mom would just love that you bought your own white cotton socks. I think you should tell her. I think.
