A slight correction first, salt isn't always added. There is a brand here in America called... Um... Well it's only peanuts, nothing added. You just need to look really hard. They even have peanut butter with jelepano flavor...
Here are some great sandiwch ideas.
PB+Banana+Honey on cinnimin swirl bread
PD+Jelly duh
PD+Honey on toasted bread
PD+Chocolate bar (you take a whole bar, like hershey's and put it in the sandwich.)
PD+Chocolate syrup and Mallow cream. It's like marshmellow cream, hard to find but very good.

Years ago, before the candy companys came out with peanut butter cups, we would take a jar of peanut butter, dip a chocolate bar in it and yummy, it was so good, and for me, it was a time when I was skinny as a rail and had no need to count calories, so I did enjoy it.I could not eat it that way now..

My son eats it in sandwiches with marmite!
I don't even like marmite
except as an ingredient of gravy with the meat course.
