A Conversation for Peanut Butter

Where I be living right now, Peanut Paste be a usual term for the stuff known as Peanut Butter where you all be living.
However, the global marketers have stepped in and we are changing to meet the needs of the advertiser's think nunce and broadcast many times philosophy.
Does anybody elsewhere in the world use the term Peanut Paste?

Apparently not. All of those things here are called butters - except tahini which is essentially sesame paste. Even apples cooked down to a paste are called apple butter.
But, on the upside, maybe some of your Aussie lingo will take over here. People already say "mate" now and then when referring to a friend - something that I can't recall happening much before Russell Crowe.
