h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I love the sandman. Having only got into it recently i haven't read much but that is true of so many of the things i'm into. I always feel like i'm joining the race late or something, you may not understand. Anyway i really do love this so please come and talk to me about it if you see this comment.

I live in germany and subscribe us-comics since 1986. most of my comics where from DC-Comics. the problem with foreign comics is, that you have to decide if you want a comic-series or not from the description in the comics-catalogue. when the Sandman was advertised, i thought "well, that doesn´t sound too bad, let´s subscribe to it." the Sandman was different to the super-hero-comics i collected till that, it was simply great. i was happy, i made that decision. meanwhile the sandman is complete available in german language also, but i prefer the original series.
Neil Gaiman is a great writer. my favorites from him are Sandman, Death, Good Omens (with Terry Pratchett) and Neverwhere.
