This so called campaign or revolution, or whatever it is, has great entertainment value for the willing and chatty type, but no real substance. For one thing, renaming thursday to thing, takes a lot of melody and rythm out of the English language. Second "thing" will sound like a strange creature in the context which in this case is going to be used for. For example, "I will see you on thing" sounds as if some parasite is going to join another parasite on a huge scarey creature (the "thing"), for a lunch meeting.
However, if you can not bring yourself to abondon this mission, try considering something else, like for instance, calling the days of week by number . "I will see you on fifth day".
On the other hand if you can not come to terms with thursdays, and it won't be your day, no matter what, just call it "theirday", or "themday", but not "thing" or even "thingday".
Still thursday, sounds more beautiful.

It's just a lot of silly fun, Metro! It's kind of funny saying "Happy Thing!", or "I'll see you on Sodit!", or "I've had a heck of a Wibble!"
I don't know if you've noticed, but in our "revolution" we're mostly lying around on the beach, and dressing up in kilts!

Of course it is. I know. Don't tell me you don't find any humor in my message.
Frankly speaking, reading through your revolutions is a major undertakign with 1000 massages or so to each. It is fun though. I read in one of them that there is a picture of you somewhere on this site. Is it at all possible for you to let me know where it is? No matter how virtual all this is or can get, we are still human beings and it is just that I have imagined you in so many shapes and forms that when I think of you, my mind resembles a twisted and warped mirror. So please help me put a stop to this agony. OK? Oh , now you are looking like a ...

Oh, I saw the humor in your message ... well I was hoping it was humor ... but lately we've actually been getting serious flak about Thing! And the lack of smileys made me get all nice and soothing in order to smooth your possibly-ruffled feathers.
I think dealing with my image through a twisted and warped mirror is your best bet ... but if you really want to see ... (it's not a great shot). I'm in the process of making a real website with a lot of my photos on it. But since I work for a website all day, it's kind of the last thing I want to do when I get home! Anyway, just click on the "I" in "I live on Long Island in New York" on my homepage.
Do you have a picture posted anywhere?

No, there is no picture of me anywhere on the web. As for smileys, I still have not tried them. I will try to do that from now on. Here is one: .
