I have just popped in too pick your brains hun,i am wanting to know if you can send photos "from the Manchester Mini-Meet" to e-mail ? i have asked granny weatherwax already but she couldn`t the photos i want have Marc aka Dandyhighwayman in them

Unfortunately the photos in question are hosted on an external website, So all I'd be able to do is to link to the photos which is what I've already done in the meetup photo archive. I know this is a problem for digibox users as they can only access a select number of websites due to technical issues of the box or something (not up on how they work). Your best bet of getting to see the pictures would be to view them from a friend's PC, a public library or an internet cafe.

Well i do the odd night babysitting n get on the pc there so i have seen them hun,just don`t understand why it says e-mail these to a friend if its not possible i wanted to surprise Marc & send them to him as he has helped me so much on here hun,n i know he wants to be on e-mail,lol

The "email to a friend" allow you to email the links to the photos rather than the photos themselves, one of the peculiarities of the website that they are hosted on.

Thats daft innit hun LOL aw well never mind i tried will have to re-pay his kindness some other way i guess LOL
I looked thru the list ov ppl you have met hun,phew theres loads ov them,you must ov been on a few meets,are they all local or do you travel a lot ? nosey mare int i ? Trish

p.s. how do you put photos on your space ?

In short, you can't as the only pictures that are allowed on personal spaces are blobs. The photo on my page was blobbed for a page of pictures from the official November 2000 meetup and assosciated caption competition, and I just borrowed the blob number to put it on my page.

I wonder if Marc is blobbed omg that sounds rude lol

Probably not. Photo blobbing only tends to occur for larger meets, and even then only if a writeup has been done for or something. I'm fairly sure a writeup wasn't done for that meet, otherwise it would have been listed on that meet's photo page.

Oh well thanks anyways Croz hun & im soz for being a pesk,its a pity there isn`t a normal photo gallery on here coz i wouldn`t putting myself on as well,at least i have my photos in mail though
