A Conversation for Driver's Education
Drivers ed

I am scheduled to take drivers education tomorrow. I live in the United States which seems contrary to the persons entry that I have just read, so I thought I would point that out. My parents are of course are making me take it. I could have recieved a drivers permit, which one may obtain after taking a test an proving that he/she is 15 years old and three months, but I had prior commitments. I have an older brother to drive me places so it was not huge on my to do list. Anyways, my mother would not let me get it until I took drivers education. So she complains about the $275 dollars it will take for some guy to yell at me for a week. She is the one making me take it you see. So shall, start drivers ed., like my brother before me, and my brothers brother after. I will be fully engulfed in the droll and facetious, however necessary, experience in my life. I am looking at 50 hours of manditory sentencing behind the wheel with a warden, 21 years of age or above, hounding my every move before I will be liberated to fly solo. An old poem comes to mind:
"The vilest deeds, like poison weeds,
Grow well in prison air.
It is only what is good in man,
That wastes and withers there.
Pale anguish marks the gate,
And the warden is despair."
Wish me luck fellow researchers!

Good Luck,
I just finished the classroom pertion of Drivers Ed in the US also. It wasn't as bad as the horror stories my friends told me (I also waited 2 years before taking it)
You'll watch a lot of movies, and compete with the other kids for the best jokes durring the movies. Dont make too many wisecracks or you'll be repremanded for "Bad Attitude", the worst possible crime in Drivers Ed.
Have Fun!
