h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I have just learned details about the latest attempt by NASA to do a close fly-by of an asteroid. Seems they got real, real close to one this summer, but flew on the wrong side of it, so the cameras were pointed the wrong way and they couldn't get any pictures.

The name of the asteroid is Braille.

Ooo, talk about irony. I can't imagine what that miscue must have cost.

How have you been, Lil? I haven't been in very many forums lately and I haven't heard from you in some time. Apparently, I've lately become enamoured with weevils. Don't ask. Things like this just happen on H2G2 and I suppose I'll just have to ride it out. Too many late nights, I suppose.

Anyhow, my new career has taken a brilliant turn, and I'm restoring / reconstructing the photo of Billy the Kid, about which read my article cos I think that photo makes a pretty good yarn.

I hope NASA doesn't try to rendezvous with asteroid Toro. Ole!!

I read the photo story you wrote and it's certainly fascinating (and well told - everybody writes better than me ). How did you come to change to such a career?

As for weevils, what do you mean, what forum is that? Just about every forum I've taken part in. Look at my home page, for goodness sake. There's clearly something wrong with me.
