h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

hello there. it's kim d here. I've been having a wee nosey through your space (always feels invasive but it's why we put them there isn't it?). It does indeed seem like we have many tastes in common. I'd like to applaud your bold stance in putting your politics up front on your page. It's nice to know I'm not alone in thinking selfishness is unacceptable.
Could I ask you to do me a wee favour - would you please check out a satirical piece I've posted for underguide on governments. I have some constructive poof reading from a friend waz and from scout Kat - but because I am new here, I'm looking for a bit of reassurance and would value your opinion.

Well, great minds etc. - I've just posted on your space! I like being back home in Bradford, mainly because I have more family and friends within reach and I have a better cultural life here. I was talking to B about this today in Halifax, and we agreed that the problem in London is that although you have a thousand films, plays, galleries, museums etc. that you could see in theory, in practice you never do much of it because you spend so much time travelling across the city and working long hours to pay the extortionate prices they have down there.

I will have a good look at your Underguide entry tomorrow, I promise. (I assume 'constructive poof reading' was an unfortunate typo, BTW? ) but right now I really *must* get some . A new university semester starts tomorrow morning, and as the badge I bought in the shop says: '"Not A Morning Person" doesn't even begin to cover it'!

hmm. that's what comes of typing whilst drunk. oops!

I know exactly what you mean about the London thing. I'm in Edinburgh which is almost - though not quite - as expensive. There are all sorts of stuff I should be doing but in practise....I'm too busyoaying my rent.
I blame the government - but then I would wouldn't I!
