...apropos of nothing in particular, you understand, would you consider yourself a good talker? I know you're a good writer, but would you say speech comes to you particularly fluently?
By the way, I've still not had time to read your script! Under no circumstances interpret the silence from this direction as a thumbs-down...

I'd forgotten I sent the script to you, to be honest!
As regards my talking abilities: it depends on the circumstances, of course, but I am usually reasonably articulate. Why do you ask?

Might you be available to talk on Radio Leeds tonight?

It'd be about Bradford City, and you might get a certain degree of fame but sadly no fortune... as it happens they've just found someone for tonight, but they're always looking for articulate fans to talk about Bradford on Radio Leeds.
So if you might fancy it at some point in the future, drop me an email and let me know your contact details, and I'll put you on the system.

Glad to hear it's sorted. if I sounded a bit grumpier than usual there, but I really didn't fancy having to get to and from Leeds tonight amid all the New Year s.
What's the show, and when's it on? I'll try to listen.

Oh, they'd do you on the phone... hardly anyone ever actually comes in to the studio. The one tonight is Kick-off with Kelner, between 6 and 7, which to be honest is more of an entertainment than sport thing. Our main one's the Football Show with Peter Lorimer between 6-7 on Fridays, and of course there's West Yorkshire Sport on matchdays.
