Politically Correct

Now, First and foremost, i need to point out that i'm usually the type who would accost people who preach "Political correctness".. but in this case i decided to make an exception and attempt to represent The french side of Canadian Slang, as it greatly differs from internationnal, or French french (or Swiss in that matter).

1.
"Mot Crisser"
Pronounced "Mut-Crys-A", usually yelled around in bar fights and political conventions in Quebec when the liberal Party clashes with the Bloc Quebequois, Means in plain english: "I'll Break you".(When you hear french Canadians Shout this.. its best to duck and cover). In some cases, it is said some yell this at nails and then proceed to damage nice pieces of furniture in blind rage.

2.
"Crisse de Tabarnac" Pronounced "Crys-duh-Ta-ba-R-Nak"
Comparable to the english version of the F word..(I'm not entirely sure if i'm allowed to write "F**k" on this page.. so i'll just write F*), the french Canadians are armed with an array of insults curses and all around bad language to dispense upon their enemies. Since we (I almost forgot to point out that i'm French Canadian.. sorry) seem to have a lack of enemies to thrash language with, we simply end up using words like this in moments of great stress, Joy.. or just to accentuate verbal punctuation. In this same category of words, you can also find "Calice" pronounced "Caw-Lyss", "Oestie" pronounced "Ess-sty" and "Cibelle" pronounced "Cy-bel"

3.
"Equeurant" Pronounced "Eh-cuh-ranh"
Ordinairilly, in France, this would mean "Gross", or anything unappealing, In Quebec and pretty much anywhere french is spoken in Canada, this means "Its so good it could kill me, no really, its that good, so good its almost gross, this can't be good for me".

Anywho, this was French Canadian Slang 101, If i made any mistakes in my english, please don't feel shy about correcting me, every little bit helps.
And finnaly, not all french Canadians are in or from Quebec, i was born in Ontario, and i stil live there, and my first tongue is french, (the surgeon says i can buy a swedish one if i want)

don't break anything
Cheers
BudyChrist
