Actually I made the effort so that I could wish you well for all the events in the coming week. I still want the though.

I've got , with robins and snow on it, feel fre to help yourself before it's all gone. Thank you very much for your best wishes. I've ironed all my new clothes, and some old ones I bought for the Beeb and then didn't need. I made sure I bought some black trousers, but I don't remember my Granny ever wearing black, so I think I'll wear something brightly coloured to remember her by.

From what you've said elsewhere it seems to be all going well and if you're going at the stuff they write about then that makes for a interesting job!

I hope you've sorted the clothes. It's a nice idea to wear something other than black. Did she have a favourite colour or one she wore a lot? J's going too?

Oh, , that might be round here somewhere. *rummages about for a bit* oh yes, there it is! I wouldn't look in the cup though, it's been there for a while.

The job is very interesting, if only because it's new and exciting. Getting home at 6pm is wonderful, although there's not much on the telly at that time of day. It'll change to around 6.15 in a couple of weeks I should think as I jiggle with my hours to fit in with J. I get home at about the time I used to be getting on a train. Bliss...

I don't remember my Gran having a favourite colour, but I have got a jumper that she gave me years ago. I might wear that. She took people how she found them, so she wouldn't care what I was wearing as long as I'm there. J will go in his school uniform, as he'll be in school until it's time to go. So I should at least wear something smart, so he doesn't feel left out.
