Hi. You've got my entry on Multiple Remote Controls to sub. Just thought I'd drop by and ask if you could let me have a look at it when you've finished and *before* you boot it back upstairs for the final going-over. Promise I won't moan, second guess the process, question every tiny change or do anything that would otherwise slow the process down - I'd just like the chance to check it so we're BOTH happy with what's going on the front page with both our IDs on it. Please?

No problem. I haven't started my batch yet, I'll let you know when I do.

I've done it now. The only major change is taking out the heading 'introduction', that and the rest are simply style changes to fit in with the guide.
Have a look and let me know if you are happy for me to send it off.
Actually, it's quite good you want to look at it, as I'm a new sub ed, if you're happy it will be a good boost. If you're not, I'll learn where I'm going wrong before it becomes a habit.

Two suggestions, which I'd probably have put in myself if the thing hadn't been rec'd so quickly...

1. Either footnote the term 'IR' with the explanation 'infra-red' or simply replace it with the words.

2. just before it says "(Dolby 5.1 Enhanced, say)" make the words 'surround sound' to a link to this:
